this large expanse of lawn has been turned into an educational and relaxing space for teachers, girls and parents. There are benches for small groups, a lawn to meet on and hammocks to enjoy. The pathways through the garden ensure safe passage around a busy internal road system and invite the visitor to enjoy the garden. The garden is accessible, all paths are smooth and permeable. The beds and arches have themed shrub and perennial planting and the central water feature will add interest.

This garden has become a classroom and a learning resource for the many subjects in the curriculum.
garden before: this open lawned area surrounded by a yew hedge was bare of colour and texture. The existing trees, memorial trees and hedge were retained. The central pathway was removed and reused in the base of the circular seating.
