a Victorian townhouse in an established neighbourhood close to city centre with a sloping garden. The design includes several level areas for entertaining. There are deep raised beds on one boundary and fruit trees on the other. New materials are chosen to match or compliment existing house and conservatory. The planting helps to soften the brickwork. In time, the climbers will blur the boundaries. A water feature adds interest.
"We feel very lucky to have found Susan to work with; she came up with some lovely designs and listened carefully to our ideas and needs at every step of the process. She gave excellent advice and put us in contact with excellent, professional contractors who brought the project to life".

"I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Susan's services or to employ her again for another project".

"Our garden is the envy of our neighbours and has worked even better than we could have imagined".

garden before: the garden sloped down to an drainage channel for adjoining land which flooded in winter. The builders of the new extension had created a patio and steps leading to garden, which was generally overgrown, except for a weed lawn and was difficult underfoot. The entrance to this garden was accessed via a narrow pathway between neighbouring properties.
